Summer
Thrill seekers can take part in rafting down the river Valldøla and canyoning in the Gudbrandsjuvet. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to get close to the fjord, a kayak trip on an untouched UNESCO World Heritage fjord is recommended. There are also a number of alternatives for both short and long mountain hikes with spectacular fjord views. We have tours that are suitable for families, couples, and groups.
Winter
The mountains in and around Valldal are hidden and untouched with several peaks over 1,700 meters above the fjord. There are tours here for everyone, whether you want to go alpine and long, or easier and less steep peaks. All the guides are local experts, have solid knowledge of safe travel in the winter mountains and will do everything to give you the best experience. And if you don’t like skiing, a snowshoe trip might be just the way to experience the beautiful winter landscape that surrounds us.
