Viewpoint Troll Wall 6-7 hours

Private tour with your own guide 6500 NOK per person.

A rewarding hike starting from Trollstigen. The hike leads us up to “Mannen” (The Man), a boulder balancing at the edge, 1200 meter above Romsdalen and with a spectacular viewpoint to The Troll Wall.

The Troll Wall is the tallest vertical rock face in Europe, about 1,100 meters (3,600 ft) from it`s base to the summit of it`s highest point. Down bellow the viewpoint “Mannen” there is a mountain area where geologists constantly surveillance for movement. It`s believed to slide out creating a disasters rockslide. A minor rockslide went out in september 2019 with “all” of Norway watching live in the news.  On safe ground we can enjoy a spectacular view overlooking Romsdalen and the “Troll Wall”, and get an insight in the surveillance of Mount “Mannen”.

The hike is long on natural trail, but goes through easy terrain in the beautiful Alnes valley.
